Entries will open for the 2024 EAA Awards on Monday 8th July! We are inviting entries across a range of categories to celebrate the best of new architecture in the Edinburgh area and across Scotland. The categories and submission process have been simplified for this year’s Awards: view the full list of categories below. More information and terms of entry can be found at the bottom of the page.

Award Categories

1. Small Project Award (less than £500k)

2. Medium Project Award (£500k-£2m)

3. Large Project Award (more than £2m)

4. Conservation & Heritage Award

5. Wood Award

6. EAA Ambassador Award

7. Building of the Year

Each project within the EAA Chapter Area* must be entered into one of Categories 1-3, and shortlists and winners for Categories 4 and 5 will be selected from these entries. Projects built by EAA member architects outside of the EAA Chapter Area* must be entered into Category 6. All submitted projects are eligible for the most prestigious prize, the EAA Building of the Year.

Awards 1-5 above will be subject to onsite judging visits.

The Awards Entry Fee is now a single flat rate of £50 per submission.

Judges will have the discretion to consider projects for additional categories to those entered.
