CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS: EAA Competitions Group

On the back of the success of the OLD NEW EDINBURGH - NEW OLD EDINBURGH photo competition, the competition group are developing new competition themes. 

 Through hosing of architectural competitions we aim to enhance the general understanding of good architecture and encourage debate. It is an opportunity to engage with communities around Edinburgh, and make partnerships with arts, culture education and heritage organisations. 

We are looking for members who have ideas for competition themes, and some time to participate in the organisation of the competitions.  

- What local initiatives in your area would benefit from architectural thought? 

- Are there areas of architectural thinking require creative investigation? 

 The competitions group typically meets early evening, this would be by Zoom during the current restrictions.
