Join the EAA and ArcSoc for a night when we swap stones and slates for LEGO bricks.

Following a long pause, the LEGO competitions return as a refreshing evening of creativity and fun, bringing our edinburgh architectural community together. This sociable evening is an opportunity to put names to faces and to meet fellow architects, students and built environment practitioners based here in Edinburgh.

Whether you’re a student, a recent graduate or an experienced Architect with specialist expertise, this event is for you!

Everyone will be split into teams and tasked with a series of design challenges that will test problem-solving skills, teamwork, and architectural flair. Each round will push the teams to think differently. Whether it’s creating bold structures, reimagining familiar landmarks or tackling surprise prompts designed to spark quick, innovative thinking.

6:00–6:30 – Welcome drinks & introductions

6:30–8 – LEGO build activity

8:00–9:00 – Voting and prize-giving, each team presents their build (audience cheer to decide the winner).

Prize to the winning team: building visit to Kings Theatre.
