‘Part 3 Socials’ are a series of informal events organised by the EAA to support students preparing for the APEAS Part 3. Each event is timed to sit just before either the exam or the interview, and is designed to act both as a casual space away from study groups and revision, and an opportunity to meet with recently qualified architects for informal discussion about their experience.

The Part 3 experience can be quite stressful, and students can feel quite isolated while preparing to sit the exam or interview, and so the ‘Part 3 Socials’ act as an opportunity to meet other candidates, chat with those who have been through the process before and share stories for moral support and guidance.

The series has been running since 2019, and has taken place online since early 2020. It is open to Part 3 students from any school, and those intending to sit the Part 3 in the immediate future are also welcome. The aim is that students leave the event feeling less stressed, more supported and ready for the exam.

‘Part 3 Socials’ are organised by the EAA Education Working Group. We are inviting nominations for new Council members and seeking new members to sit on our Working Groups.
