“Although we didn’t visit the shortlist for this category, we were all immediately impressed with this project. The sensitive way in which the residential development has been integrated into the rural setting through the careful and sensitive use of materials creates a development that feels both very rooted to its location and very contemporary in its outlook. Measures taken to ensure that the rural character is preserved have worked highly successfully, across streetscape, green spaces & public realm.”
