”The judges were convinced with the winning project’s creative, pertinent and pragmatic thinking.  The various plan adaptations, and external level adjustments, enhance accessibility and increase adaptability while retaining the original buildings character, quality and significance.

The panel found the strategic and sensible re-appropriation of side entrance porches entirely convincing, and applauded the discrete yet impactful integration of additional services. A careful, fluid and well coordinated project, all the more admirable for it having been carried out while the building was still in use! A worthy winner of the Ambassador Award.”
